Vakuumverdampfer sind heute ein fester Bestandteil der Abwasservermeidung und -aufbereitung,, auch im Bereich der Galvanotechnik. Vor allem im Hinblick auf steigende Kosten für Entsorgung und Rohstoffe werden die Möglichkeiten zur Einsparung von Entsorgungs- und Behandlungskosten immer interessanter. Dies wird am Beispiel von chromhaltigen Lösungen dargelegt.

Use of Vacuum Evaporators in Metal Finishing
Vacuum evaporators are today an accepted element in the overall strategy of ef?uent minimisation and recycling, in Metal Finishing as in other branches of industry. Continuing increases in the costs of waste disposal and raw materials make the economics of such equipment ever more attractive. This is illustrated using a chromium-containing liquor as example.
