Phasengleichgewichte im System Palladium-Halogen-Wasser - Bewertung anhand des Potential-pH-Diagramms
Zur Gewinnung von Metallen werden häufig wässrige System heranzogen. Dabei hängt die Effizienz bei Palladium beispielsweise von der Fähigkeit zur Komplexbildung ab, um Palladium in metallischer Form abscheiden zu können. Die unterschiedlichen Zustandsformen der Verbindungen werden im Potential-pH-Diagramm in Abhängigkeit vom pH-Wert dargestellt und liefern die thermodynamischen Grundlagen für diesen Anwendungsfall.

Phase Equilibrium in the Palladium-Halogen-Water System - Evaluation in terms of pH-Potential Diagrams
Metals are usually electrodeposited from aqueous systems. In the case of palladium, for example, the process efficiency depends on the extent to which complexes of the metal can be formed, these being precursors for deposition of the metal. The various species able to be formed, are presented within the framework of a pH-potential diagram, as function of pH, thereby providing a thermodynamic basis for the process.
